About Our Pastor and First Lady

Dr. Rev. Robert Coverson is the Senior Pastor at Meditation Missionary Baptist church. He is the retired senior Pastor Second Chapel Hill Baptist Church, where he served for 28 years.

After his retirement he served as Church Administrator for New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Coverson is the Founder of Spiritual Hospital Hour Ministry which began in 1982. In connection with his ministry Dr. Coverson wrote a book God's Super-Natural Prescriptions: Volume 1.

Dr. Coverson came out of retirement in 2015, when he answered God's call to become the Pastor at Meditation Missionary Baptist Church. He has been married to First Lady Mary Coverson for 40 years.
